THEY’LL KNOW WE ARE CHRISTIANS

We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the lord.

We are one in the Spirit; we are one in the lord.

And we pray that all unity may one day be restored…

CHORUS:

And they’ll know we are Christians

By our love, by our love,

And they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand

We will walk with each other; we will walk hand in hand

And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land…

CHORUS:

And they’ll know we are Christians

By our love, by our love,

And they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

We will work with each other; we will work side by side

We will work with each other; we will work side by side

And we’ll guard each one’s dignity and save each one’s pride…

CHORUS:

And they’ll know we are Christians

By our love, by our love,

And they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

All praise to the father, from whom all things come

And all praise to Christ Jesus his only son,

Consecration to Christ the King

All O, Christ the King! Behold us at your feet, adoring your divine splendor. With deep gratitude we realize that you have chosen us, from among many, to be the courageous soldiers of your Kingdom.

We want to be really yours, Lord; and we consecrate ourselves to you.

We want our souls to be immersed in grace at all times. Give us the strength to bear our cross all through life.

Even though everyone around us be a coward, we want, Lord, to go against the current, and follow you, who are the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Lord Jesus, make us apostles! Teach us to pray. Grant us a desire for Holy Communion.

Teach us to preach your Love by our example and in conversation. Grant, Lord, that we may open the broad road of your Grace to all people.

Make the world return to you, even if it costs us our lives.

Rector(a)Please stand.

The Blessing of Cards and Crosses

The people remain standing for the blessing of cards and crosses by the Spiritual Advisors at the altar.

AMAZING GRACE

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see.

T’was grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved;

How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares I have already come;

‘Tis grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years bright shining as the sun

We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we first begun

Praise God, Praise God…
