REVIEW FOR THE EXAM

You should make study notes or cue cards from all of the notes that you have taken in class throughout the year for each chapter. If your notes are poor or incomplete, you should look to the end of each section at "Key CONCEPTS" to make your study notes.

Go over all of your mini-tests, assignments, tests and The Mini Exam and make sure that you can do every question.

Go over all of the chapter review sheets handed out in class and make sure that you can do all of the questions on the sheets.

Do the Cumulative Review in your text book: Chapters 1 and 3 Page 156

Chapters 4 and 6 Page 320

Chapters 7 and 8 Page 434

Be sure that you come in for extra help if you run in to any problems.

FINALLY

You need to practice writing an exam. So, find a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed for 2 hours. Make sure that you have all of your necessary equipment. Put your notes away and do a variety of questions from the Course Review on pages 438 – 447. To give you an idea of timing, last year the exam had 5 short answer questions and 12 long answer questions. On page 438, question 5 is a good example of a short answer question and question 10 is a good example of a long answer question. Be sure to check your solutions with the back of the book pages, 564 – 567. If you have any questions, come see me for extra help.

· GOOD LUCK!
