Come and celebrate the end of another great year of riding with friends
NILLUMBIK ESTATE WINERY is located in the picturesque hills of the Nillumbik Region of the
Yarra Valley at 195 Clintons Road, Smiths Gully (opposite the St Andrews Pony Club Grounds).
After enjoying a relaxed trail ride along the quiet back roads and trails of Smiths Gully and Panton Hill, upon arrival at the cellar door we will be taken through a personalised wine tasting with either Winemaker, John Tregambe or Chanmali to help us all decide which wine to enjoy with our lunch.
Nillumbik Estate’s range of rustic gourmet pizzas and platters have been crafted to perfectly match their wine styles and are made from local organic produce, some of which is grown on site.
John’s family have been making wine for generations in Italy and it is their age-old wine making techniques that he employs at Nillumbik Estate. The large deck at the cellar door offers beautiful views of the Kinglake Ranges, ready to be soaked up with a glass of fine wine in hand.
For those who wish to join the trail ride on the day:
10.00am Leave the St Andrews Pony Club and ARC Grounds, Clintons Road, Smiths Gully for a
leisurely2 ¼ hours ‘walk’ paced ride.
On returning to the floats, secure the horses and leave with hay and water.
** When booking, please indicate your intention (or not) to ride so that I know who is participating in case of any changes due to weather etc.
12.30 –12.45pm Walk over the road to Nillumbik Estate Winery
1.00pm Lunch served
3.00pm Depart at your leisure

Prosciutto – tomato base, slices of prosciutto, garnished with roquette & shaved parmesan cheese
Salami – tomato base, slices of salami, mozzarella, shaved pecorino, olives & drizzled with pesto

Choc’n’Berry pizza – white chocolate, garnished with strawberries and ice cream
