1.Write or print clearly, legibly, and neatly!

2.Complete all applicable sections (It’s suggested that you keep a photocopy)

3.Attach originals to your Group Committee (or equivalent) cheque payable to:

5.Receipts will be delivered to you at Cuboree.

6.The designated contact Leader is responsible for ensuring that only registered members are enrolled as participants.

7.Since each youth will have a chance to paddle a canoe, we ask that if they own a paddle and a PFD (personal flotation device) that is CSA approved to bring it to camp. This equipment will be shared with the other youth at the water event. Each PFD & paddle must be clearly marked with the Group and owners name.

8.There are no picnic tables available on site.

9.If your pack is twinning with another pack or you are sharing camping equipment, please send in with your registration package, a request (in writing) that you wish to camp together.

10.There will be potable water at the site.

11.Campfires are strictly prohibited.

12.Special Needs Cases (wheel chair): All special needs cases will be dealt with individually. Please make us aware of these cases with your registration package.

13.No-Trace Camping will be required – Groups must leave the campsites cleaner than when you arrive, and you are required to take away all of your own garbage.

14.Busses leave at 7:00 pm from the Whitby Operations Centre parking lot. Overnight parking is available at the Whitby Hydro parking lot ONLY. Please indicate the number of vehicles that will be left overnight in Whitby. Specific details will be provided at the Leaders Meeting in April.

15.Estimated time of return is 3:00 pm.

16.It is MANDATORY that a leader goes on the bus with the youth.

17.When this camp is over, each Cub will have filled all of the requirements for his/her Watercraft badge. It will be the responsibility of the packs to make arrangements to acquire and present these badges.

NOTE: OUR TEAM RECOMENDS YOUR PACK HAVE A “GET READY FOR CAMP” NIGHT. ALL OF THE YOUTH SHOULD HAVE ALL OF THEIR GEAR MARKED. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING PLASTIC GARBAGE BAGS AS THEY ARE MUCH HARDER TO PACK ON THE TRUCK. USE 2” MASKING TAPE TO IDENTIFY PFD’s AND PADDLES.

Only one vehicle or trailer per group will be permitted at the campgrounds, from Friday at 12:00 PM to Friday at 7:00 PM for set up.
Sunday AFTER CLOSING ONLY we want to make sure all of the youth are accounted for and on the busses prior to vehicles moving on to the field.

Please ensure that everyone involved understands and appreciates this safety requirement.

  • Cheques must be payable to Scouts Canada – Whitby Area. Registrations will not be accepted if cheques are incorrectly issued.
  • Two Crest will be provided for every registration fee paid
  • Additional Crests may be available for sale at the camp.
  • Registrations are non-refundable.
  • Late registrations are subject to space availability.
