The Burford Singers
The Burford Singers is a choir of about 100 amateur singers drawn from a wide area of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Now with charitable status, we are managed by a committee of Trustees. We perform 3 concerts a year in Burford Parish Church, with professional soloists, and accompanied mainly by the Cotswold Chamber Orchestra. We are trained and conducted by Brian Kay, ably supported by Hilary Tadman-Robins our assistant conductor, and Robin Baggs our accompanist. The reviews of our concerts bear witness to the high standard of our performances. The choir meets weekly to rehearse, and although numbers are restricted by space we are always interested to hear from anyone who might like to sing.
