Dominion Devils Field Hockey FULL FIELD Winter Indoor League 2014

Dominion Field Hockey is currently registering players for the NJ Winter FULL FIELDIndoorTurf League season. Registration is open to all players grade 5 and higher. The registration fee is $170.00(not including pinnie). If you register and pay in full before Dec. 2nd the registration fee will be reduced to $145.00 (not including pinnie). Registrationends Dec. 17th. All registrations are non-refundable. We will be playing according to FIH rules.

Teams will consist of at least 10 but not more than14 players, if you sign up as a full team then no additional players will be added to your team’s roster. Players that register individually will be assigned to a team as necessary. If we have additional players and not enough players to make a complete team, of at least 7 players, than those individuals, who registered last, will receive a complete refund. Each player must purchase a reversible pinnie, from Dominion, for $15 (this is not included in the registration fee). Once a pinnie has been purchased it can be used at every Dominion event. The league runs on Sundays, 12/22 (5-7pm), 1/5, 1/19, 1/26, 2/16 (3-5pm), 2/23 (8-10am) at the Fieldhouse in Sparta. Exact game times and teams for the season will be posted online at and emailed to those registered by Dec. 18th.

FOR HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS:

Each team is guaranteed at least 6 games (50 min without halftime). Each team is strongly encouraged to have ONE PARENT MANAGER. The duty of the parent manager is to monitor subbing and to ensure equal playing time for all players on the team. If you would like to manage a team please indicate you willingness below as managers are assigned on a first come first serve basis.

FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAYERS:

The girls will have a 15 minute instruction period for 3 of the 6 weeks (specific weeks to be determined). The rest of the 35 minutes will be a scrimmage. This scrimmage will be instruction based, helping the girls learn where they need to be. The teams will scrimmage for 50 mins.If there are not enough middle school players who register for this league, those who registered will be mixed into the high school league.

Release of Liability

We, the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the above-named candidate for a position on the Dominion Field Hockey, do hereby give my/our approval to participate in any and all League activities – including transportation to and from the activities, practice, and games. We know that participation in field hockey may result in serious injury and that protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to players, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless Dominion Field Hockey, and all officers, sponsors, employees, coaches and other volunteers from any claim, demand or cause of injury to my/our child or damage to his/her personal property which arises out of or in any way is connected to Dominion Field Hockey programs or any travel required for such programs – whether the result of negligence or for any other cause. We will furnish a birth certificate for the above player for verification by league officials upon request.
