Please especially see section 1.7 of the Academic Appeals Policy on eligibility to appeal and 1.9 on evidence requirements. Only the student about whom a decision has been made can lodge an appeal against that decision; appeals by third parties are not accepted [see section 1.7].
Please note the deadlines of appealing an Attendance Failure:
- Fall 2017 semester: 18 December 2017, by 5pm
- Spring 2018 semester: 4 May 2018, by 5pm

If you have ticked b) above, and believe that your instructor has made an error, please attach any relevant correspondence with your instructor. Verbal confirmation is not normally sufficient – you must have their confirmation in writing. (Note that this statement and your supporting evidence may be copied to the instructor/department/examiner/committee concerned to help them to respond).
