Subject: “Dania Beach 2016 Arts & Seafood Celebration”

A special event is requested by the Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency to have their annual “Arts & Seafood Celebration”. The requested event will take place on April 2 & 3, at Frost Park from 11am- 8pm. This will be a free community event with entertainment, food vendors, fine artist, crafters, sponsor booths, local restaurants, and children activities.
The applicant is requesting the following:
1) BSO Police Services
2) BSO Fire Services
3) Road closure for Fronton Blvd. from N. E. 2nd Street to N. E. 1st Street.
Recommendation: Approval with the compliance of the conditions noted below.

We will also provide additional staff to cover the extended weekend evening hours.
