Hunter’s Creek Elementary First Grade Supply List
(NOT FOR DUAL LANGUAGE STUDENTS)
Dear Parents,
The following is a list of core supplies for the school year. As the year progresses, there may be additional items that are requested for projects. Some items may need to be replenished throughout the year. However, we try to list all core supplies so families can take advantage of Back to School prices.
Please label every item with your child’s name. Each crayon, marker, pencil, etc. does not need to be labeled, just the box.
•2- 24 pack of crayons
•4 pink pearl erasers(not pencil top)
•1 box colored pencils
•1 box washablemarkers
•2 packages ofSHARPENEDpencils(24 pencils per pack)
•One 1 inch binder- durable plastic to last the whole year
•2-2 pocketPLASTIC folders with 3 holes to put in binder (pockets should be on the bottom, not side of folder)
•16 glue sticks AND one 8 oz. glue bottle
•1 box of tissues(with lotion for sensitive little noses)
•1 package of baby wipes
•Large All Purpose Nylon Zipper Bag to be used as a pencil pouch--(No Plastic Pouches, No Plastic Boxes) see for example, also available throughout at Walmart, cost is appx. $3-5
•Pencil sharpener with a top
•1 package of Expo dry erase markers(a pack of 4-low odor if possible)
•2 pairs of Fiskars safety scissors, round edge
•1 pack of highlighters
•1 box of latex-free band-aids
•1 bottle of hand sanitizer
•1 container of Antibacterial Disinfectant Wipes for Surfaces (ex. Lysol or Clorox)
•1 box gallonsized slide lock bags, 1 box of quart sized slide lock bags, and 1 box of sandwich sized slide lock bags
•3 Primary Ruled Composition Books(with top half blank for illustrations)
•1 ream of white copy paper
Everyone please choose ONE of the following items to bring in:
•1 package of PAPER plates for crafts
•Extra special donation request: 1 box of Clear Sheet Protectors
At home, you will need these additionalsupplies for homework and special projects: glue, pencils, crayons, scissors, a stapler and a ruler.
At “Meet the Teacher” please bring in your supplies. Please remove them from the packages and label with your child’s name (except individual pencils or crayons).
Each teacher has individual needs and may have additional items requested the first week of school. In our experience, we have found that Elmer’s and Crayola brand products are a better value for your money.
