Importing Leads from Top Producer to E-edge

1.  Login to TP. Search for contact that will be imported to E-edge. Move leads from Top Producer to eEdge in groups in this order Client, SOI, Buyer and Seller.

2.  Export records.

3.  When the lead is moved to eEdge it will be tagged in Top Producer as Market Leader - Client etc. Mass Update the records and update tag.

4.  Now, you already have the exported records, login to http://mykw.kw.com/kwintranet/

5.  Once logged in, click o ‘View Contacts’. In ‘Contacts’ Tab, click on ‘Manage Group’

6.  Now, in ‘Manage Group’ create a new group name ‘Past Client A’. Group names can only contain letters, numbers or space characters. As you go along, create group names based on leads contacts you searched from Top Producer.

7.  Now click on Import/Export in ‘Contacts’ tab. Download the Custom Template which you would use to import data.

8.  An excel sheet with header row will be saved to your system. Open it.

9.  Now we will copy data from our original import file to this template. We want to make sure we map the data correctly. i.e. First Name under First Name etc. DONOT change the field names on Custom template. E-edge won’t accept the file.

Another IMPORTANT thing is –

Each record MUST have a first name and a last name and an email ID.

If a record doesn’t have any of these three we put a hyphen in name fields and a dummy email in Email field.

Dummy email would be – , dummy2@gmail,com, and so on and so forth.

E-Edge won’t accept same email IDs. Hence 1,2,3 suffixes.

First name and Last name can have No Name or - - as given in example below

10.  Now, let’s map the file. Save the template file and we will import to E-edge.

11.  Select the Group Name we added in the beginning. Choose file, leave other setting as is.

12.  Click Import.
