Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held in the Kitty Dancy Room, Sandhurst Community Hall Complex on Monday 20th June 2011 at 7.45 p.m. ending at 8.50 p.m.

20. Announcements. The Chairman informed the Committee that the order of business would be as set out in the Committee Procedures document.

21. Declarations of Interest. Members were reminded to declare interests in agenda items wherever relevant.

22. Minutes. The Minutes of the Meeting held on 6th June 2011 were agreed as a true record.

23. Correspondence.

(a)  Notice of Appeals in respect of 3 Enforcement Notices relating to land at Riverside, Mill Lane, Sandhurst have been received and will be responded to.

(b)  Letters have been received from Wokingham Borough Council regarding consultation on supplementary planning documents for the strategic development locations for Arborfield Garrison, South of M4 Motorway, and North and South Wokingham. No action to be taken.

(a)  P.A. 11/00345– 214, College Road, College Town, Sandhurst. Erection of first floor rear extension.

“Considered no objection”

(b)  P.A. 11/00366 – 11, Edgbarrow Rise, Sandhurst. – Extension to existing Conservatory to form Orangery.

“Considered no objection”

(c)  P.A. 11/00381 – Perry Hill House, Maple Close, Sandhurst – Erection of single storey rear extension.

“Considered no objection”

(d)  P.A. 11/00392 – 11, Mulberry Close, Owlsmoor, Sandhurst – Erection of single storey rear extension forming conservatory.

“ Recommend refusal” for the following reason:

The proposed rear extension would be out of keeping with the existing pattern of development in this terrace of houses and in particular would be detrimental to the amenities of the adjoining dwelling. We consider there may be “line of light” issues".

“Considered no objection” – provided the proposed staircase meets all appropriate Building Regulation and Health and Safety requirements, and incorporates suitable measures to mitigate any potential noise issues for adjacent residential properties.

(b)  P.A. 11/00400 - 1, Greenways, Sandhurst – Erection of single storey rear extension forming Conservatory following demolition of existing Conservatory
