WHAT IS MALIBU?

Malibu is a high school resort that thousands have been going to for the past 50 years. Join over 300 high school students from all over the Northwest, and even the country to experience what is usually described as “the best week of my life!” One promise we can make about your trip to Malibu is that you will not be bored.High adventure can be found in the treetop ropes course, zip line or on a climb up the side of Mt. Albert to Inspiration Point. When you are ready to come back to sea level, try wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking, inner tubing, the blob or our heated swimming pool.

WHERE IS MALIBU?

Malibu is located 100 miles north of Vancouver, B.C. in the Princess Louisa Inlet. It’s snuggled up against the fjords that reach up to 8500 feet.

WHEN?July 9 – 15, 2012

The camp is from Monday through Sunday. The bus will leave around 3:30am from James Village in Lynnwood on the first day of camp. You will leave Malibu camp on Monday returning to James Village around 10:30pm. Exact departure times and other trip information will be sent to you in the weeks approaching to your trip.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

THE COST:

Your total fee is $777. This includes round-trip chartered bus transportation to Egmont B.C., round trip boat ride (3 hours each way), 6 nights lodging and all meals at Malibu Club, insurance, linen, and a full week of outstanding Young Life activities.

FINANCIAL AID:

The policy in Young Life is not to exclude anyone because lack of funds. On our website is a link to apply for a financial scholarship, as well as info regarding fundraising opportunities.

CAMP FORMS/PAYMENT:

2ND TIME TO MALIBU?

In order to go to Malibu a 2nd time, you must have 2 “new” people(who have never been to Malibu) sign up. If this is you, please have those people register at the same time as you, as your registration will not be accepted without their registration as well.
