What is Positive Discipline Parenting?
Positive Discipline is a class for parents looking for long-term parenting skills that will encourage their children to think for themselves, become more responsible and have greater respect for themselves and others. Positive Discipline is a firm but kind approach to parenting that will strengthen family relationships and help you understand your child’s emotions to get to the core of the behavior. You will learn common sense solutions and communication strategies that will help you feel empowered and optimistic as a parent!
Who Is Kristin Nasman?
Kristin Nasman, MEd, is a Certified Positive discipline Parent Educator and has led parenting classes at Newport Covenant for many years. Kristin is both a parent and former classroom teacher. She currently works as a parent educator at Bellevue College and teaches Positive Parenting classes locally. She also works for Sound Discipline doing teacher training and consulting for schools and has her own private, parent coaching consulting business.

The cost for the six-week course is $60 per person / $90 per couple.
Costs increase to $65 & $100 after October 8th, if there is space available.
