- Maintain Scholarship. You must maintain a 2.70 G.P.A. to initiate.

- Complete the GREEK LIFE EDU program online before October 1st.
- Meet as a class at least once a week to discuss progress on class projects and other business.
- Obtain 10 signatures a week of active brothers in White Diamond, and 20 signatures during initiation week.
- Make a commitment to meet, get to know, and spend time with every member of your associate class.

VII.SIGNATURES & DRESS CODE
Dress Code: Black or brown shoes, kaki pants, white dress shirt, navy or black blazer, gold tie, associate pin
Required: Monday all day long until chapter Monday night, Wednesday for ritual, and Sunday for member education meetings. Active brothers are also required to wear a similar attire to preference nights and other occasions
Purpose: Dress code is to represent the seriousness of every chapter meeting, ritual, and member education meeting. Also to show that we are men of class and stand out on campus
Consequences: Their are no consequences to not wearing your associate attire when it is required but it shows a lack of commitment to the brotherhood when you do not.
Signatures: A way for you to meet the brothers and the brothers meet you. A great resource for you to network or talk about challenges in school ect. These are to be recorded in your white diamond. Brothers will usually write a quote or words of advice for you.
Required: 10 per week and 20 during initiation week. 1-2 hour time commitment per week
Purpose: Once again, for you to get to know the brothers and for them to get to know you. Give you a resource to brothers who have prior knowledge and experience in school, the associate semester, college, jobs, life, ect.
Consequences: We ask that when you obtain signatures you do so in only a sober manner and the brothers know that they must be sober in order to give a signature. We will ask about your talks with the brothers and if you got to know the brother or not. If you didn’t we will ask you go back and meet him as well as we will ask the brother to put more effort in to his conversation with you. When we are asking about your conversation with the brother we are also asking to make sure that the types of conversations the brothers are having with you are appropriate and beneficial so please do not hesitate to let us know if a brother is acting in a inappropriate manner
Other: Overall signatures are a great resource for you. To this day I still go back through my white diamond and read some of the notes brothers left for me. On a serious note, a brother may never ask you to do something in order for him to sign your book. For example a brother asking you to do his laundry or get him food or anything that goes beyond that is not expectable. We do not condone that and that is not the purpose of signatures. If at any time a brother does something along the lines of those actions you must report it to me and the brother will be held responsible.
VIII. CLASS PROJECTS
These six class projects MUST be completed by Initiation week in order to initiate:
- Class Retreat: As a class, travel to a location outside Boulder and spend the night. This is to be a Sober Event to unite your Class and must be done prior to Spring Break.
- Ability Experience Service: Our Chapter takes this very seriously. You class MUST plan and organize a service event with the Life Skills kids or some other Ability Experience event. Coordinate with Chaplain and Ability Experience Chairmen.
- Fundraising for Ability Experience: Your Class must raise a minimum of $1,500 for Ability Experience through a fundraising event. You must individually raise $250 each for the Ability Experience. Your Philanthropy chair will help set you up with way to accomplish this.
- Chapter Gift: Our chapter is a source of great pride and by adding an improvement your class can leave their mark on our legacy. (Present this during Initiation week.)
- Brotherhood Event: Plan an event for the brothers of the house. Be creative and make it fun.
- Class Scrapbook: You class must create a scrapbook of memories of your Associate Semester. Included anything, especially pictures, this should be worked on throughout the semester.
Do not be afraid to ask for help from any of the Brothers. They are more than willing to help with ideas. Do not hesitate to ask! These projects should be worked on by the entire Class not a few individuals, use them to help bring you all together.
Good Luck! Do not put these off until the end of the semester because they will catch up to you.

X. IN CASE YOU ENCOUNTER PROBLEMS
During the course of this semester, you may have doubts about becoming an active member of Pi Kappa Phi. If this happens, do not let it drag you down. Let one of your brothers know and certainly come to the Member Education Chairmen, Warden or your Big Brother. There will be hard times for sure, but that does not mean that you will not rise to the occasion. Remember that we are here to see that you become a brother and we will work hard to see you reach this goal.
XI. THE END OF THE ROAD
If you ask active brothers what experience in the fraternity is their most memorable, any would say initiation. We do not want to deny you of that opportunity, so we are pushing you to reach that goal at the end of your associate semester. Please take our word for it, initiation will be a part of you for the rest of your life, so set your goals high and you will reach the top. Always act with CLASS and be a true Eta Gamma Pi Kappa Phi.
