Further to the decision of the Job Evaluation and Market Review Panel, the Head of HR or representative is responsible for informing the Head of College/Corporate Service or nominee, and post-holder, of the grading outcome. If a post with an existing post-holder is re-graded, the effective date of the re-grading will normally be the date the agreed job description was received by the relevant Head of HR for grading. Also, in such cases, the post-holder is normally awarded one increment on re-grading.
