TPP Online for Clubs
TPP Online for Clubs will consist of 4 main components: Administration, Golfer Registration, Scoring and Clubhouse Viewer. For those familiar with TPP Online for Associations, there is a lot of similarity between the TPP Online for Clubs and TPP Online for Associations systems.
In order to get started, an association will need to contact GHIN Technical Supportto gain access to the system. GHIN will create an administrator level account for your association. This account can be used to add additional administrative level users for others within your association.
An association will be able to grant access to their member clubs. You will not need to contact GHIN to grant or revoke access to TPP Online for Clubs. Once a club is given access, they will be able to create additional administrative users for their club if they wish.
Once set up, a club will have access to all 4 components of TPP Online for Clubs.
- Administration – This is the fully functional replacement to TPP Client. With the administration module, clubs will be able to create tournaments, build pairings and score events just like they would within TPP Client.
- Golfer Registration – TPP Online for Clubs has the ability to support online registration for events. Golfers will be able to create a profile on TPP Online for Clubs and have access to events for all of the clubs they are a member of, even if the clubs are members of different golf associations.
- Scoring – Just like TPP Online for Associations, TPP Online for Clubs has the ability to report results in real time using our scoring website.
- Clubhouse Viewer – The Clubhouse Viewer replaces the client based version that TPP Client currently has. Clubs will be able to customize the look/feel of the viewer.
Administration
TPP Online for Clubs – Administration is the TPP Client replacement that will be used in TPP Online for Clubs. Clubs will be able to maintain their own list of courses, tournaments and their own master player list. To be clear, items in the Master Player List for one club will not be accessible by another club.
Since there are numerous internal changes between TPP Client and TPP Online for Clubs, it will not be possible for a club to migrate their current TPP Client database to TPP Online for Clubs. Clubs will be able to export events and players from TPP Client and import them to TPP Online for Clubs. Clubs will also be able to accesscourse rating informationfrom any course within the CRP database.
Existing TPP Client and TPP Online for Associations reports and scorecards will be usable within TPP Online for Clubs as well. Both the Client and TPP Online for Associations have export tools for reports and scorecards.
Other Points of Interest with the Administration Module
- TPP Online for Clubs will operate as a standalone website. It will not have any interaction with the TPP Online for Associations Websites that exist today.
- Association Events in TPP Online for Associations will not be displayed on the TPP Online for Clubs website
- Associations are able to set up their own “Association Level Club” to show events being run by the association (Play Days/etc.) and could even move all of their event registration to TPP Online for Clubs
- If a user has an account on TPP Online for Associations, they will need to make a separate account for TPP Online for Clubs to register for anyof their club events.
- Clubs will be able to email participants in an event directly from within TPP Online for Clubs
- Clubs will be able to customize messaging (similar to TPP Online for Associations).
- Associations will be able to access all events setup by their member clubs using their association level administration account.
- Associations will be able to import reports into a club’s database directly for club use.
Golfer Registration
Golfers will be able to access thegolfer registration site and sign up for events at any club they are a member from one website. Even if the golfer is a multiple member between clubs in 2 or more associations, they will be able to use the same account to access events from all of those clubs.
Clubs have full control of which events allow registration and which events do not allow registration. Golfers will be able to maintain a profile that will be used when they register for an event. This profile information will be copied into the Master Player List for the club hosting the event. Clubs will also be able to create Membership Programs and allow golfers to register for the programs.
If a club wishes to accept payments for registrations, it will be required for them to setup a Commerce Gateway account with Network Merchants Incorporated (NMI). They can contact Heidi Olsen at NMI for assistance creating the gateway. Once configured, the club will be able to enter their gateway information into the Administration section. The same gateway can be used for TPP Online for Clubs and eClubhouse.
Scoring
The scoring website will be very similar to the way it works for TPP Online for Associations. Clubs will have access to customize stylesheets and provide headers/footers. Scoring will be available to be shown on club websites (via widgets) as well as directly shown from our website.
Clubhouse Viewer
TPP Online for Clubs includes the online version of the Clubhouse Viewer similar to the version used in TPP Online for Associations. Clubs will have the opportunity to customize their clubhouse viewer via the online theme creator and can access the clubhouse viewer from any standard browser. This will replace the client based Clubhouse Viewer that some clubs used with TPP Client.
