DO YOU KNOW A POWERFUL COUNTRY WOMAN CHANGING THE GAME IN YOUR REGION?
Powercor is celebrating the contribution that country women make to regional communities as part of the 2017 Powercor Country Festival.
When Essendon plays Geelong on 12 March in Bendigo, Powercor will be calling on regional communities located in their network to identify powerful country women who will be rewarded for their service to their local community.
Powercor CEO, Tim Rourke said there are many women in regional Victoria leading the way and driving change towards a better future.
“These powerful country women are game changers, they embody the humble pioneer spirit that makes regional Victoria so great.
“We are proud to be working with local Councils and partners in regional Victoria to identify women who are instilling change in their communities, so we can support the outstanding work they are doing,” he added.
Powerful country women can be nominated by visiting www.powercor.com.au/gamechangers and telling us why they are game changers driving and embracing change.
Nominations open on 8 March 2017 and the Powercor Game Changer will be announced at the Heart of Victoria Gala dinner to be held in Melbourne in May.
The winner will receive $5,000 towards a leadership development program and Powercor will donate $5,000 to a local charity of their choice. They will also toss the coin at the Essendon v Geelong match at the MCG on 13 May, receive tickets to the match and accommodation.
