New York Trip
BROADWAY BOUND!
We are planning our 17th annual trip to New York City this May. All 6th, 7th and 8th grade Murchison students and their families are invited to attend. What a great gift to give your student!
Scheduled trip dates: Thursday, May 25 through Sunday, May 28, 2017
In recent years, the trip was completely full before winter break—don’t miss out!Payment made & registration forms completed online/mailed in & teacher notified officially on the list.
Cost per person: approx. $1835.00 (with at least 30 paying participants**)
(This cost will cover everything included with the trip: NOT shopping,tips,snacks).
The more that go, the lower the $ goes! If we have 35+ = $1785 and 40+ = $1735.

THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES:
* Round Trip airfare from Austin (no airline points may be gained nor used;you pay baggage fees)
* 3 nights Hotel Accommodations (in Times Square, The Rowe Hotel)
* Meals while in the city ( $ for breakfast, $ for lunch, dinner paid for)
* Transportation between airport and hotel; tour buses 3 days in city
* Admission to the Metropolitan Museum or Art or MoMA or History Museum
* Balcony Seats at 3 Broadway Shows; 1 with “upgraded” seats!
~FYI—the shows may be PG-13+ (w/ language and some adult themes)
~3 shows to be determined by advisors (any suggestions??)
~most shows are upper balcony seats (but it is broadway/theaters are smaller)
* After Theatre Chat students will meet and talk with the actors and crew after one show
* Empire State Bldg. -OR -Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center Observatory)
* Statue of Liberty(Staten Island Ferry will take us around the Statue for views and pictures)
* Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (or like)
* Walking Tours of Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, (shopping!)
* Program Leader/Tour Guide daily -- 24 hours a day
* Walking tour of Greenwich Village, SOHO, Little Italy and Chinatown
* NBC Studios tour *or- Radio City Music Hall tour
* Walking tour of WTC Memorial, Wall Street, Financial District
* TIMES SQUARE!!! Hershey’s store, MTV & Toys ‘R Us stores (with ferris wheel!)
Note: Entire families are welcomed, just let us know how many will be attending and room preferences. We pride ourselves in providing a safe, educational and oh so fun trip every year and this one promises to be no exception!!!
