Teamwork Pyramid
Round #1:
- As a team form the cups into a pyramid (3 on bottom, 2 on those, 1 on top)
- Nobody should EVER touch the cups.
- All of the team members must hold the strings near the end away from the rubber band.
- There are 6 strings if you have fewer than 6 people in your group, have someone hold two strings.
- After you have completed your pyramid OR after time expires move on to round 2.
Round #2:
- Choose two people from your group to wear a blindfold.
- Following the same rules as above build a pyramid as a team.
- When finished with round 2, go over the discussion questions below.

- What were some things you did as a group that made you successful?
- What were some things the group did that made the task more difficult?
- Were there people in your group who did a good job as leaders?
- What did they do?
- How do you describe their leadership style?
- Did anything happen that made the process more difficult?
- What types of behaviors would make reaching your goal more difficult?
- Were there people in your group who did a good job as followers?
- What did they do?
- Is it okay to follow?
- How was Round #2 different from Round #1
- Were you more successful in Round #2? Why?
- What different behaviors did you observe that made you more or less successful?
- What type of phrases can be said to team members to make the team more successful? What phrases will make the team less successful?
