NOTES FOR APPLICANTS
1.Preference will be given to those who are accepted into reputable universities. Preference of awards will be full scholarships given at postgraduate level or specialized in nature.
Awards are normally for studies of one (1) to three (3) years duration. The award is subject to review after each semester.
2.Academic Requirement
The Selection Board will be looking for candidates with very good academic examination results. For entry to postgraduate courses, successful applicants are likely to have, or expect, at least an upper second class degree or equivalent.
3.Application Procedure
Individuals or academic staff of universities or specialists wishing to apply should submit applications through their Heads of Department, who will certify that the candidate will be granted study leave (see paragraph 11). All applications should be submitted directly to The Executive Secretary, Yayasan Sultan Iskandar Johor, Rumah Johor, JKR 1255, Jalan Carruthers, Bukit Tunku 50480 Kuala Lumpur. Application forms submitted via e-mail will not be entertained.

The total amount should include tuition and other fees as imposed by the university plus other subsistence allowance that you need.

7.Interviews
Only short-listed candidates will be informed and called for interview inAugust/September 2015. Interview will be held at Rumah Johor, Kuala Lumpur. Applicants, who are unable to come for interview at this time, cannot normally be considered, nor can special interview arrangements be made for any applicant. No correspondence will be entertained as to why an applicant has not been short-listed.
8.DO NOT send copies of relevant certificates and documents with this form. Bring them (together with original) only when you are selected for the interview.
9.Closing Date
The closing date for applications by the Yayasan is17 July 2017. Late applications will not be considered. All application forms must be sent by mail/courier/hand but not by e-mail.
