4.SAVVA Style Fully Sealed ODO Category (Refer to Clause 18 of the Supplementary Regulations)
“Time Keeping and Controls” changed as follows:
All of the CRRASA defined controls may operate. Secret controls for this category will operate in terms of Method 1 as defined in VSR 25 (a)(ii)
This means that Sealed Odo Category Competitors will NOT stop at Secret Controls
5.Superman Rally Competitors:
a).Distance from the refuel point in the normal rally to the end of the Superman Rally is approximately 200km. Please ensure you have sufficient fuel as there is no refuel on the Superman Rally
b).Route Schedules will be issued to you on arrival at Café du Cirque
c).The Superman Rally is run under the “Regulations and Minimum Standards for the 2007 CRRASA Superman Rallies” which are available on the CRRASA website. Some of the salient differences are:
Amendments, additions and deletions to the Route Schedule may be issued en route;
landmarks are not necessarily in the road reserve;
there are no requirements with respect to the interval of providing times & distances on the route Schedule;
competitors do not necessarily run the same route;
calculations may extend across more than three instructions;
no calibration section is specified;
leeway at hidden controls is 2 seconds early;
controls will not be within 200m before or after an intersection;
there is no allowance to make up time at either intersections or secret marshals
DIRECTIONS TO START & CALIBRATION SECTION:
Follow M1 South on the double-decker past Johannesburg CBD and through the Crown Interchange to Bloemfontein
After the “R553 Eldorado Park / NASREC Road / Soweto” off ramp, stay right “M1 Southgate / (R82) Vereeniging” and then follow “R82 Vereeniging”
A short way past the end of Southgate Shopping Mall, immediately before the Columbine Avenue bridge:

SPECIAL NOTICES:
- With reference to Clause 11 of the Supplementary Regulations, two sets of competition numbers will be supplied by the organisers and must be fixed to the left and right front doors of the vehicle or in a prominent position on both sides of the vehicle
2.Competitors in the Sealed Odo Category will be issued with their Route Schedule ten minutes prior to their start time
3.Competitors are reminded that they must obey the rules of the road at all times on the event and especially with respect to overtaking – GCR 172 Breach of Rules and GCR 173 Penalties refer
4.Coffee & Tea with Muffins will be provided to Competitors and Officials at documentation
