Greyhound and Local Bus Service

The Bus Port at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport handles all local bus service (MetroBus) and Greyhound Bus Service. It is located off of Lambert International Boulevard south of the Terminal 1.
All passengers needing to connect to the Bus Port should board Lambert’s courtesy terminal shuttle. The shuttle stops makes regularly scheduled stops at the Bus Port on its route between the 1 and 2 Terminals.

Light Rail

MetroLink is the St. Louis metropolitan region's light rail system and is operated by Metro as part of a fully integrated regional transportation system. MetroLink has 37 stations and stretches 46 miles. It serves several municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri, St. Clair and Monroe Counties in Illinois, and the City of St. Louis.
Passenger pickup for Metrolink:
Terminal: 1 Exit Door 1, upper level east of the American Airlines Credit Union
Terminal: 2 South of terminal accessible through the parking garage on all levels.

MetroLink timetables and information:

MetroLink light rail system extends 46 miles from either Lambert-St. Louis International Airport or from Shewsbury to Shiloh-Scott (Air Force Base), Illinois, stopping along the way at major retail, business, recreational, and cultural centers, as well as the Convention Center, Americas Center, Faire is $3.75 outbound from airport stations; $2.25 elsewhere.

Ground Transportation

Taxi stands are located at most downtown hotels and it’s fairly easy to hail a cab on downtown streets.

The fare from the airport to downtown St. Louis is around $35, with airport shuttles charging $15 one way, $25 for round trip. Various limousine and car services are available as well, along with a number of local companies offering some rather unique modes of group transportation.

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport works with the Metropolitan Taxicab Commission to provide first class service for all our passengers and airport travelers.

Exact fares depends on final destination. Each taxi will have an Airport Use Fee of $3.00 per pickup.

Shared ride shuttles leave St. Louis Lambert International Airport approximately every 15 to 30 minutes between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and begin servicing routes to the airport at 4 a.m. Shuttles outside these hours require reservations. Amtrak

Amtrak is located in the St. Louis Gateway Transportation Center. The downtown facility serves inter-city bus carriers and offers direct access to the MetroLink light rail and local bus network.

Parking Services

Abundant parking is available in high-rise garages and on surface lots throughout downtown.

Parking meters are available on the streets and generally have a two-hour time limit that is strictly enforced. Parking at most meters in the City of St. Louis is free after 7 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and all day on Sunday.
