Vertaalbureau Van Lokerenbvba
Vertaalbureau Van Lokeren came into being in 1977, when Claire Van Lokeren and Albert Gomperts were still students.
We formalized our activities in 1978, when we became self-employed.
We concentrated on expanding our customer base and eventually incorporated as a BVBA in 1997.
We now serve a wide variety of companies and private individuals, most of whom are located in and around Antwerp.
Projects
A detailed summary of the projects handled over a period of 30 years and more would be time consuming to read. It is sufficient to say that we have very considerable in-depth experience with road design and construction, concrete design, water engineering, coastal defence, canal and dyke construction, bridge design and construction, as well as related fields such as soil surveys, hydrographic surveys, plant operation, ship construction, navigation, crewing, personnel management and the associated quality and safety manuals. Other relevant work includes soil and groundwater remediation, disposal site design, life-cycle assessments of construction materials, design and construction of soil cleaning plant, water treatment plant and similar.
