Mr. Tom Olechnowicz is responsible for managing the North American Simulation and Visualization sales team and establishing Christie’s presence in the display solutions market. Tom also provides assistance in setting the R&D direction and strategy of Christie projects and develops working relationships with prime contractors and integrators.

Tom has been with Christie since January 2005. He started working as a sales manager for simulation sales before his promotion to director of simulation sales. Following this, he then became the senior director of visualization and simulation sales for visual environments.

Tom is recognized for his expertise in negotiating multi-million dollar deals and subcontracts as well as researching and positioning new Christie projection display technology. He’s the first at Christie to be involved in the sale of Christie solutions requiring AutoCal™, MotoBlend™ and AccuFrame™; all of which are major value-add functionality features that Christie offers to the display market.

Prior to joining Christie, Tom was a major subcontract manager for Lockheed Martin, where he managed multi-million dollar sub-contractors deliverables and performance. Tom was also the head of a major study utilizing Kaizen techniques to recommend strategy and direction for a major subcomponent. Further to this, he introduced and researched new technologies for product enhancement. Tom has worked in various designations for major companies such as SGI, Sun Microsystems, Precision Visuals and Boeing.

He has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Akron in Ohio. Tom’s love for science and simulation extends beyond academics and his daily work. He applies his technical skills to the construction of miniature train sets as well as accompanying scenery, such as, mountains, bridges and tunnels. Apart from artistic talent, Tom has a passion for cars and enjoys going for a fast ride in his Corvette.
