Anglican Renewal Ministries of Canada
ARM Canada believes that it is called to contribute towards spiritual renewal among Christians both personally and corporately and to be of service to the Anglican Church. ARM Canada believes that Jesus Christ is Saviour and Lord and the only way to the Father; it accepts the authority of Holy Scripture and affirms that the Holy Spirit empowers authentic worship, evangelism, ministry and service.
ARM Canada believes that God is awakening the church to the realities of the historic Pentecost through the gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit as revealed in the New Testament and as experienced today in the worldwide movement of the Holy Spirit commonly described as the “charismatic renewal.” ARM Canada encourages its supporters to become involved in all aspects of church life at the parish, diocesan, and national levels, and cooperates with all those who seek the renewal of the whole church in worship, evangelism and service.
ARM Canada seeks to fulfill this vision through the following initiatives:
-Prayer Support
-Anglicans For Renewal magazine
-ARM missioners promoting renewal across Canada
-Conferences and Missions
-Schools of Renewal Ministry
-Networking with renewal clergy and laity
ARM Canada is supported solely by your donations

“To prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.” Ephesians 4:12
Church leaders agree that there is a critical need for better-trained leaders in the Anglican Church and that ARM Schools of Renewal Ministry are part of meeting this need.
The goal of ARM Schools of Renewal Ministry is to equip Christians as leaders so that clergy and lay leaders become teams to prayerfully lead parishes into renewal and grow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These leaders should also be available to assist other parishes to move into renewal.
who should come?
This is a training event especially designed for Anglican laity, including wardens, lay readers, and other parish leaders, to assist them in their calling to renew the local, regional, diocesan and national church. It also targets those who provide Christian leadership in other ministries and thus is open to all denominations. All participants should believe that they are called to bring the renewing power and presence of the Holy Spirit to Christ’s church and His world.

ARM would like toopen this excellent program to as many lay people as possible. If several clergy who have attended School of Renewal Ministry would like to hold a local School for one or more parishes, ARM will provide a leader for a local School. It can be held in a church hall with visitors billeted and locally prepared meals. The length of the School can be four full days down to a Friday night-Sunday night weekend. The program for the event will be reduced to the length of time available. This arrangement will reduce costs to local expenses including meals, plus the expenses of the ARM leader and a contribution to ARM. For further information, please contact the ARM Office.
