33rd Annual Jesse James Invitational Boys and Girls Track and Field Meet

Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Garretson Sports Complex

Start times: Scratch Meeting @ 9:00, Field Events @ 9:30, Running Events @ 10:00

Enclosed are entry instructions for coaches, time schedules, and general information for the Jesse James Invitational. Make checks payable to Garretson School Districtin the amount of $150.00 by Thursday, April 6, 2017.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Medals for six (6) places for relays and eight (8) places for individual events.
  2. Scoring 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 for all events
  3. Entry limit per event: Four (4) per individual event with a maximum of three (3)

capable of scoring. One (1) per relay event.

  1. All events will be finals: Long and triple jump will have 4 attempts with no finals. Shot

put and discus will have 4 attempts with no finals.

  1. Concession stand will be furnished with hot food, snacks, and beverages. Meal will be

provided for coaching staffs and event workers.

  1. This meet has been sanctioned by the SDHSAA
  2. Make sure your rosters are updated on the SDHSAA website
  3. Numbers will be assigned per school and will be written on the participant’s left hand -

no stickers are needed. Numbers will be e-mailed prior to the meet.

  1. Coaches report to the crow’s nest to make any changes in entries by 9:00.
  2. Absolutely no sunflower seeds at the complex
  3. NO CAMPSon the football field – camps are allowed outside of the 4 foot fence.
  4. If available, please have an adult present who would be willing to help whereneeded (turns, cut lines, etc.)
