Job Summary: Works as a viable part of the management team. Responsible for accounting and financial reporting of the club. Works with the General Manager to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes, and related activities and records. Develops, establishes, and administers procedures and systems pertaining to financial matters, prepares financial statements, maintains accounting records and is responsible for development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information. Directs, monitors, reports and interprets all accounting, reporting, and budgetary aspects of the club’s operation.

Job Responsibilities (not in order of importance):
· Prepares and issues in a timely manner the monthly financial statements and other necessary supporting schedules to report the club’s operation.
· Setting up new vendors.
· Completing credit applications.
· Processing and obtaining proper approval of invoices.
· Paying all invoices in a timely manner to take advantage of all discounts.
· Obtain the proper W-9 information to prepare 1099’s at year end.
· Setting up sales skus as needed and performing necessary adjustments.
· Prepares working papers of operating budget working with the General Manager and department heads to revise, adopt and enter final budget for financial reporting.
· Maintains written analysis of all balance sheet accounts.
· Prepares year-end corporate tax schedules for the auditors.
· Prepares and maintains timely appropriate information for all licenses of the club: i.e.: liquor, food, health permits, auto, etc.
· Reconciles monthly all bank accounts of the club.
· Pays all petty cash requests and reconciles petty cash reimbursements on a monthly basis.
· Upgrades bank signature cards as needed.
· Maintains fixed asset schedule.
· Maintains, gathers bids, and administers the club’s general and auto insurance.
· Obtain periodically credit card processing information and fees to ensure that the club’s fees are competitive.
· Prepares annual personal property declaration.
· Maintains proper file storage of all club’s documents.
· Conducts research and complete special projects as assigned by the General Manager.

Technical requirements:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical/Mental Demands:
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift 50 lbs, floor to waist; lift 30 lbs waist to shoulder; lift and carry up to 60 lbs, throughout the shift; places these items on high and low shelves in storerooms, walk-ins, and freezers. The employee will frequently have hands in water. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Mental Demands:
Remember; recall multiple details, names, sequences and procedures. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks to produce a professional, smooth working environment.
Work Environment:
The employee is frequently exposed to hot, cold and humid temperatures. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock or burns. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Educational/Certificate/Licensing Requirements:
Valid Nevada Drivers Licenses or equivalent
Three to five years related experience and/ or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Computer/Language/Software/Other Requirements:
Ability to read, write and speak in conversational English. Knowledge of current accounting practices as well as commonly used business accounting software. Knowledge of Jonas software programs preferred.
