Sheboygan Jaycees 2018 Scholarship Application

The Sheboygan Jaycees Foundation offers two $1500 scholarships each year to Sheboygan-area high school seniors (schools included: Sheboygan North, Sheboygan South, Central, George D. Warriner, Sheboygan County Christian, and Sheboygan Lutheran High Schools). Winners are selected in April, and certificates are presented in May at the scholarship awards ceremony at each recipient's school. (Scholarships will not be disbursed until proof of enrollment for the Fall 2018 semester is received from the winner’s college of attendance).

Each applicant must complete the following application form, write an essay stating career and educational objective(s), explain how the Jaycee Creed relates to his/her own values and vision, and request two letters of recommendation from teacher(s), coach(es), school counselor, employer, etc. All items of this application must be submitted together to your school’s guidance office by the deadline listed below.

Please take into consideration the items below:

  • Emphasis will be placed on community involvement/community service/leadership roles and volunteer activities.
  • Letters of recommendation must be SEALED by the individual who wrote the letter when submitted.
  • Application Deadline: Friday, April 13, 2018 – no late submissions will be accepted.
  • Please return all components of the application to your guidance office – no mailed or

emailedapplications will be accepted.

  • Personal interviews may be conducted.
  • Two $1,500.00 scholarships will be awarded.
