Status Report of Pending Legislation in Senate and House
Only three weeks remain in the 2009 regular session of the Missouri General Assembly. It is very likely that all bills which have not been reported out by a committee, bills that are not “moving” will die – probably to be resurrected next year. Exceptions are bills that are adopted as amendments to other bills that are moving. You will note that the ban on alcohol vaporizers is still alive as part of other crime prevention legislation. Presented below is the status of “bills of interest” as of April 23, 2009 (8:00 AM). This is the final appearance of “the big grid” for 2009. Capitol Report #31 will include an end-of-the-session report of final status of legislation.
