If you are unable to be present on the day you are assigned to acolyte, you are responsible for finding someone to switch with. Phone numbers are included above. When you have found a replacement, call the church office to let us know of the change (671-1899).

When you acolyte, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to get dressed and have the candles lit before worship begins. Begin lighting the candles when the prelude starts. On all Sundays, acolyte is responsible for lighting and extinguishing the candles, and fetching and receiving offering plates. On communion Sundays, the acolyte is also responsible for carrying the cross in and out, and helping with communion.

When you acolyte, please plan to wear nice shoes at least, as you will be seen up front, and you are expected to participate actively in worship.
