What are the best environmental automobile solutions, ethanol, electric, or hybrid?

Are there more positive or negative effects as the natural gas consumption in America increases?

Should Animal Experimentation for Medical Research be banned?

Should the minimum wage be raised or lowered?

What is more humane, Life Imprisonment or the Death Penalty?

Should the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sports be legalized?

Why are Americans rapidly becoming more obese?

Are low carbohydrate diets or gluten free diets beneficial?

Do violent video games cause people to act out violently?

Does music impact society, or does society influence music?

Are law enforcement cameras an invasion of privacy?

How should we respond to the global problem of illegal immigration?

Should military spending in America increase or decrease?

Should colleges abolish reliance on SAT and ACT scores in admissions?

Process: As this Capstone Project is developed, there will be multiple stages of tasks that need to be completed.

Stage One: Develop an open-ended research question of interest in the box below? (Remember this is a debatable question. Do not provide your claim statement!)

Stage Two: Choose three (5) articles that relate directly to your question. Copy the URL’s in the box below.

Stage Three: Compose a10% Summary foreach of the five (5) articlesproviding four central ideas that focus on the author’s claim andreasoning.

Stage Four:After reading the sources, andconsidering your own viewson the topic, develop a well-structured claim statementthat answers your research question and type it in the box below. (Remember to provide a why statement in the claim.)

Stage Five: Complete an Annotated Bibliography according to the Guidelines and Rubric

Stage Six:Combine your claim/thesis withyour analyticalunderstandings in a well-developed argument essay meeting the provided FCA’s. The organization of the final product should follow the format presented in the table below.
