*CCV Love our schools over 100 people showed up doing various things to clean, organize, landscape different areas of the school BIG Thank you to all who helped
*Conferences next week
*Tuesday 7pm community meeting in library with Peoria PD Crime of opportunity was a hot topic and the non-emergency line # 6237738311 call whenever you see something
*Tomorrow 1st quarter student of the month assembly these will not happen monthly
*Sports teams are doing great girls volleyball swept spike fest and boys football got 1st seed
*Birthday books going well
*Ms. Jackson has been doing frontier website yearbooks on sale now
*Stand up kind heart award will be 1 per class
*6th grader Morgan did weather on Channel 12 news – Congrats to her
*no school Monday 10/10

Health Fair went well thank you to everyone lots of great volunteers
Restaurant Fundraisers
*Culvers will be October 19th 3-8pm for 8th grade promotion, 8th grade will also be doing a Thirtyone fundraiser for additional funds for promotion activities
*November will be froyo
*December will be Panda Express
Apex fun run went well, collections taking place 10/11 @10am in conference room
Costco night was a huge success,pictures will be on Facebook we earned 93 reams of paper
Book Fair
*October 11-18th will be held in Room 101 down 1st grade hallway
*Book fair will be open until 3:30pm all days
Holiday Night
*Frontiers 1st Annual Holiday night will be on December 2nd from 5-9pm.
*will include 5 food trucks, Polar Express will be on the BIG inflatable movie screen, and vendors will be set up in the gym for shopping with Santa Claus.
*no cost to attend but vendors and food trucks will be available for purchase
Faculty Appreciation
*Our next staff appreciation will be 10/13and then again in November
*We will need donations so watch for sign up genius.
Easy Money /Box Tops
*next submission date will be November 18th
*Parents are encouraged to sign up with Albertsons, Fry’s, etc. which donate a % to our school. Some of these programs must be done each year
*Currently frys only has 45-64 households
PUPC elections coming soon these people volunteer their time, Peoria bond on ballot and general election November 8th
Site council meeting discussed many things and Jon Edwards to donate to Frontier looking at buddy benches, carnival (free to community), other suggestions being made
Disney Raffle
*Tickets will be sold at restaurant nights
*winner will be drawn in December during the Panda Express night
Fall Fundraiser for 2017-2018 school year.
*no more Apex
*possible read a thon for k-5 and some other type of fundraiser for 6-8
*Possibilities will be discussed at November meeting
Student Group Reports-None
Fund Request- None
New Business-
Parent requesting alternative meeting for working parents who cannot attend. Ideas are being discussed possibility of a meet up quarterly or maybe a Zoom call. Later meeting times have not worked in the past.
T-shirts- We will do one last push on t-shirts for the school year and that will be it. Order forms to go out to all students and due back no later than October 19th
