Toledo’s Top Female Blogger Tells All (about blogging)

Lisa Renee Ward, founder and publisher of Glass City Jungle, a popular political web “blog,” will address Zonta Club of Toledo 1 this Wednesday, March 10 at noon at the Toledo Club. She will focus on the power of blogging for women in the 21st century.

Ms Ward launched Glass City Jungle (glasscityjungle.com) in 2006 to provide information and facilitate discussion on local political topics. The site holds top ranking in the state of Ohio. Ward also is a weekly columnist and fact checker for two area newspapers, operates six other smaller blogs, is the Ohio Editor for BNN Ohio (BlogNetNews Ohio), and is a regular FOX Toledo "Rant & Rave" contributor. She is the author of the book "The Loved and the Forgotten of Ohio" which chronicles moments in Ohio she discovered in searching for her late father's family. Ward is married to Miguel Roman and is the mother of five children, the grandmother of two.

The Zonta Club of Toledo 1, founded in 1921, is an international executive and professional women's service organization that works to improve the status of women and girls around the globe.
