Dear Shane,

KCDA Telephone Communications Systems RFP#12-230 was awarded November 17, 2011 by the KCDA Board of Directors. ShoreTel and Avaya were both awarded the bid per the terms and conditions of the bid which included two (2) Addenda. ShoreTel did not have any exceptions to the RFP. The initial contract is one year beginning November 18, 2011. There are three (3) one (1) year renewable options at the mutual discretion of KCDA, KCDA customers and the vendor.

A KCDA Contract Information Page has been created for ShoreTel and is currently posted on our website under Awarded Bids. This page enables KCDA customers and the vendor to view the award letter, vendor contact information, pricing, vendor partners, order instructions, bid specifications, bid advertisements and statutes which authorize customers to use KCDA contracts.

We have a telephone conference set for Monday, December 5 to review the Contract Information Page. Ideally we need to create a partnership page which requires customers clicking on the ShoreTel logo and locating pricing, dealers, etc. I’ll show you another vendor’s link so you understand more of what I’m trying to explain.
