THIS WEEK’S MEETING
The meeting was called to order by PRESIDENT THOMPSON BRANDT.
RONDA EICHERled us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.

TERRY HEILMAN introduced Susan Heilman.
SINGING
STEVE HOLMAN led us in singing “My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean” and “Vive Le Rotary”.
FELLOWSHIP
GEORGE WALKERwas in charge of Fellowship and asked questions about Agriculture. Happy News was shared by SHERRI KORNFEIND, MICHELLE MCNEELY, BRUCE JOHNSON and JAMES RHYNE.
The 50/50 drawing was won by TIM REGAN. TIMdid not choose the winning marble, the pot is worth $259??
ANNOUNCEMENTS
We had 28 attend our March 15 social gathering.
PROGRAM
BRUCE JOHNSON introduced Doug Scheider who shared with us his trip to Cuba for the Farm Market Study tour. Cuba is made up of around 11 million people with a negative growth. Despite the exceptional ergonomic skills of cooperative leaders, Cuba can’t feed its population with urban gardens, 80% of there food is imported. Cuba is a top 10 export market for the United States such as soybean oil, powdered milk, dry beans, dry peas, lentils, rice and poultry meat. US Agriculture products can be exported to Cuba but only if there is a cash in advance or third party financing and payment must be received before the shipment leaves.
