This curriculum plan is for students from University of Kentucky who have completed the UK General Education Package. Admission to WKU as a PRE-NURSING major is required before you will be assigned an advisor. You must also apply to the actual nursing program when you are qualified to do so. Minimum qualifications to apply to nursing. Completion of an approved general education package. Completion of at least 3 of the 4 required science classes(highlighted in yellow) and the labs associated with that class with a grade of C or above. You must have completed or be in the process of completing all other classes on this list at the time of application to the nursing program. You must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.75.
