Kris Wardlow was a guest on the KSTA “Morning Show” to preview and promote the upcoming Coleman County 4H & FFA Livestock Show, slated for January 16-19, 2016 at the Coleman Rodeo Grounds. KSTA will broadcast “Live” from the show on Monday, January 18th.
1/21/16…7:05am-730am….Marie Rosales….Marie was a guest on the KSTA Morning Show to discuss her invitation to participate in the DOWN UNDER Sports International Track and Field Meet in Austrailia this coming June. The family will hold multiple fundraisers over the next few months.
1/22/16…7:05am-8:25… Paul Catoe, Coleman City Manager…The City Manager was our guest on the KSTA Morning Show, providing our audience with a full recap of the City Council Meeting held on 1/21/16. Highlights from the meeting were the Council taking action to apply for a Texas Department Of Agriculture Grant, to be awarded in October 2016. If funded, these funds will be used to upgrade sidewalks and infrastructure in downtown Coleman. The City Manager also detailed the monthly Financial Report for the City.
1/26/16… 7:05am -7335am…Kim Little, Executive Director, Coleman EDC/CCC…Kim Little was a guest on the Morning Show to recap the meeting from the previous night of the Coleman Community Coalition 4B EDC. Several key items were discussed and acted on, including the approval of new bylaws foe the 4B CCC, as well as changing the method of pay for the Executive Director. Upcoming EDC Events include a Board Retreat at the Warren Ranch on 1/28/16, and the Retail roundup on 2/2/16.

Information was given on room availability, services available, staffing needs, and the process for placement at the Allen Center and Holiday Hill, Inc.

Show to discuss and promote the upcoming “Search For the Stars” Talent Show, slated for Saturday, February 20th, at the CHS Auditorium. This is a fundraising event to help assist cancer patients, held annually.
2/19/16…705am-805am…Paul Catoe, Coleman City Manager…. Paul Catoe was a guest on the Morning Show, recapping the latest meeting of the City Council. Highlights were the “Great Texas Warrant Round-Up” which the City is a part of. Significant time was also given to the issue of the electric utility rates being charged to the citizens of Coleman. Mr. Catoe stated that work IS underway now, in preparation for the time when a new contract is set to begin, on January 1, 2019.

Pamela Hinds was our guest on the “Morning Show” to preview and promote the Friends Of NRA Banquet that will take place on Saturday, February 27th, at the Bill Franklin Center, here in Coleman. Pam detailed the “Live” and Silent auctions that will take place, along with the meal, and other fundraising games that will take place. Two sets of complimentary tickets were given away during the interview.
2/25/16…705am-750am…Municipal Court Judge Robert J. Nash…. Judge Nash was our guest on the KSTA Morning Show to preview and detail The Great Texas Warrant Roundup 2016. Judge Nash advised our listeners that the Coleman Municipal Court will be participating in the ROUND-UP, and that the official start date for potential arrests is March 5, 2016. Individuals with outstanding warrants, etc., are urged to contact the Coleman Municipal Court to resolve these outstanding issues BEFORE the Roundup arrests begin. The Judge will be a return guest while the Roundup is underway.
3/3/16…705am- 735am…Mary Griffis, Coleman County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director…. Mary Griffis was our gust on the Morning Show to promote and detail March as Membership Drive month for the Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Staff and Board members will canvass the County during the Month, encouraging new Memberships in the Chamber Of Commerce, and support for their activities.
3/4/16…705am-745am… Municipal Court Judge Robert J. Nash…. Judge Nash was our guest on the Morning Show to provide more details on the Great Texas Warrant Roundup 2016. Judge Nash said that great results have been noted in the pre-roundup phase, with approximately 100 cases being resolved, or arrangements being set up since last week’s on-air interview. Judge Nash reminded listeners that Arrests, in association with the Roundup will begin as of 3/5/16.
3/22/16…705am- 725am… Kristi Burrage, R.N., Coleman Home Health & Hospice… Kristi was our guest on the Morning Show, detailing the work and availability of Coleman Home Health and Hospice to serve Coleman and the Big Country. Burrage serves as the Director Of Patient Care for CH&H, and they are based in Downtown Coleman, across from the Coleman Post Office. They are located at 206 W. Pecan Street.
