The Area 12 NJROTC 2015Drill Championship is Saturday, March 4, 2017 at CoffeeMiddle School, 901 Route 206, Douglas, GA 31533. This meet gives our cadets the opportunity to compete amongst the 16 top units in Georgia and North Florida for a position in theNJROTC NationalDrill Championship.
DEPARTURE TIME: 3:30AM via charter bus from the NJROTC parking lot at Sprayberry High School.Cadets should arrive no earlier than 3am and no later than 3:15am.
RETURN TIME: Midnightsame location. Yes, it’s a very long day!!
PURPOSE: The opportunity to meet and compete with 16 different high school NJROTC units in close order drill, academic, military and athletic events with top 2 earning a national championship invitation.
SUPERVISION: Instructors and parent chaperones. Any parents that wish to chaperone and/or observe the events may do so. There are no bleachers for these events; it is advisable to bring chairs.
COST: Lunch and dinner will be provided to cadets. Spending money will be necessary if they want extra food. Cadets will also receive a championship T-shirt for their participation.
ATTENDANCE to this event is mandatory for 40 selected cadets. Thank you!
DRESS: Cadets should wear Sprayberry NJROTC warm up suits and unit pt gear with athletic shoes. Uniforms will be placed in provided garment and duffel bags and loaded on drill trailer the day prior.

WHEREAS the NJROTC Unit, Coffee High School, 159 Trojan Way, Douglas, GA, hereinafter called Indemnities have agreed to sponsor the Area 12 Drill Championship to be held on 04 March 2017 at Coffee Middle School and to permit

to participate in said Drill Meet and to use various buildings, athletic fields, gymnasiums, transportation equipment, health and physical fitness facilities, and training devices, etc., at the Coffee Middle School, and any other facilities associated with this event.

Name of Parent or Guardian
is desirous of holding indemnities free from any and all claims whatsoever arising out of the use of the above detailed facilities or any other facilities at Coffee Middle School/ Coffee County Board of Education.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the aforementioned action by Indemnities, the above named Parent or Guardian indemnifies indemnities and holds them, their agents, and instrumentalities, employees and successors harmless from any and all torts, claims, or liability, or other casualty, whatsoever to the above named cadet or to any other party, person or property, caused or occasioned by the use of any such facilities or equipment, negligence due to imperfection in said facilities or equipment, negligence of Indemnity, or other person or party, or for any other cause.
The action of the Indemnities in allowing the above named cadet to participate in the NJROTC Area 12 Drill Championship and to use the facilities shall signify acceptance of this offer of indemnity.
It is also certified that the above named cadet is fully covered by a valid insurance program for any and all injuries that could result from the activities and events of this Drill Meet.
