Erinwood Ford Character Counts Awards Application:

Erinwood Ford gives three awards to an Erindale Graduating Student who demonstrated outstanding character during their time at Erindale. At Erindale, we talk about the three pillars of character; Leadership and Mentorship, Academics, and Community Involvement. Leader and Mentorship is exhibited when students support other students during class, after school programs at Erindale, sporting events, club events, intramurals and tutoring. Academics is shown by a commitment to class by maintaining a minimum graduating average of 60% and completing all work within the assigned timelines. Community Involvement is working in the Erindale community helping others well beyond the 40 hours required for an Ontario High School Diploma. We demonstrate character through our 12 character attributes; optimism, honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, courage, inclusion, empathy, perseverance, caring, initiative, and cooperative. The students that win these awards will have demonstrated that they have put the character attributes into actionunder the three pillars.
