Multi-Enzymatic Action
PentaPrep contains five plus enzymes and excellent surfactants to facilitate the rapid breakdown of bioburden, organic soil as well as biofilm. PentaPrep has high levels of synergistic enzymes at use dilution that are catalysts for cleaning, breaking down organic matter thousands of times faster than other types of instrument cleaners on the market.
PentaPrep Multi-Enzymatic Pre-soak Spray and Foam are ready-to-use formulations that contain various enzymes including protease, amylase, lipase, and a cocktail of cellulase enzymes to breakdown biofilm.
PentaPrep comes to you ready to use in two applications: non-aerosol spray and foamer. PentaPrep along with the company’s other instrument cleaners have been tested in independent laboratories and universities for efficacy, biodegradability, material compatibility and safety. Please find attached validation studies.
PentaPrep activates immediately upon contact with organic matter. Case Medical recommends a minimum of 2 minute contact time for cleaning and 5 minutes for soaking with no mechanical action. Since enzymes do not kill microorganisms, we recommend thorough rinsing after use. While we encourage a maximum contact time of 2 hours, because of the neutral pH of our product, it could be left overnight or longer if instruments are contained and properly labeled.
Non-Corrosive
PentaPrep is pH neutral by design and manufactured using only the necessary components in a solution of high purity water. PentaPrep will not corrode or damage surgical instrumentation.

PentaPrep contains no hazardous chemicals, dyes or fragrances. Its components are biodegradable and non-cytotoxic. Cost Effective
PentaPrep is an efficient alternative to enzymatic pre-soaks that must be diluted for use. On the average, you can expect approximately 500 sprays per 24 ounce bottle. This equates to approximately $.015 cents per spray. Case Medical offers a concentrated version of this five plus enzymatic cleaner, PentaZyme, that is low foam and formulated for manual and automated cleaning for additional savings.
