RACE
1)Group T1:Improved Cross-Country Vehicles
Group T1.1:Petrol 4x4 improved cross-country vehicles.
Group T1.2:Diesel 4x4 improved cross-country vehicles.
Group T1.3:Petrol, 2-wheel drive vehicles.
Group T1.4:Diesel, 2-wheel drive vehicles.
2)Group T2:Series Production Cross-Country Vehicles
Group T2.1:Petrol cross-country series production vehicles.
Group T2.2:Diesel cross-country series production vehicles.
Group T2.3:Series Production vehicles, which homologation has failed.
3)Group T3:Improved Cross-Country Vehicles & Lightweight vehicles
Group T3.1: Improved cross-country vehicles (over 750 kg), under 1.050cm3, with an atmospheric petrol engine.
Complying with article 286-2017 Appendix J FIA.
Group T3.2: Improved cross-country vehicles,
And Lightweight Vehicles(over 750 kg), over 1.050 cm3, with an engine able to be homologated in Group N or T2.
Complying with article 286-2015, Appendix J FIA.
Group T3.3: Light Vehicles over 1.050 cm3, equipped with a bike engine or with an engine derived from a bike.
These engines must strictly be without modifications and be from a big batch production.
Group T3.4: Light Vehicles under 1.000 cm3, equipped with a turbo Petrol engine.
These engines must comply with T3.3 regulations. Both elements engine and Turbo must be strictly standard.
Vehicles of T3.3 and T3.4 Groups will be considered as «SSV vehicles of T3 Group».
4)Group OP «OPEN»
Group OP.1: All vehicles conforming to Score Regulations.
Vehicles must be recognized by "Score International"organization and meet the technical requirements of the Silk Way Rally.
Group OP.2: 4 wheel drive vehicles more than 2.8 tonnes and less than 2.20 metres wide.
5)Group T4TRUCKS
Group T4.1:Series Production Trucks
Complying with Appendix J – article 287 and to the FIA, as well as the homologation regulations of T4 FIA Group (01/01/2008).
Group T4.2:Modified Trucks
Complying with Article T7P of Dakar 2017 technical regulations, possessing the Dakar passport, or demand being pursued, or possessing the equivalent of the Dakar technical passport, issued by the competitor’s ASN.
In the case where the demand of the technical passport is being pursued, the competitor must hold a written document stating «demand being pursued, without any reserve».
Group T4.3: Series or Modified trucks
Corresponding to the technical specifications of Groups T4.1 or T4.2 and carrying out "fast service" for one or several crews entered in the race.
ADMISSIBLE VEHICLES
SERVICE
The choice of vehicles is free, except for caravans which are forbidden.
The whole route is accessible to two-wheel-drive vehicles.
Trailers, semi-trailers trucks,motorhomes, busesand campers are allowed.
