In order to calculate how much you should be allocating to these awards across an entire year or term can be calculated in a number of ways. The easiest way would be to look at the numbers of players on your programme within each colour and then multiply this by the cost per player per year (3 x terms):

You can then add in this figure as a single line of expenditure within your overall costing model:

The examples given also assume that each child enters at that level, which means that some costs, like the purchase of additional collector devices will reduce for those that have already come through your programme.

There are also a number of products that can be purchased as one off items, like hoodies and t-shirts, which would provide an opportunity for the coach to generate a small profit or mark up. As with any new product and associated merchandise, we need an initial period to bed in and test the market, but hope to evolve the range over time.
