If Your 11Th Grade Child Does Not Have a First Period

All of our 11th grade students will be taking the CAASPP standardized test starting Monday April 25, 2016- Thursday April 28, 2016. The CAASPP test is the computer based test that has essentially replaced the old paper/pencil STAR test. Please review the schedule below. If you look, the first half of the 11th grade alphabet tests Monday and Tuesday, then the second half of the alphabet tests Wednesday and Thursday. Here is what you need to pay close attention.

If your 11th grade child does not have a first period

If your child is an 11th grade student and he or she doesn’t have a first period class, your child will have to show to their testing site at 8:00 am. On Monday and Thursday, your child will only have to show about 20 minutes earlier. If your child tests Tuesday and has no 1st period class, they will need arrive about an hour earlier, and on Wednesday, testing starts at 8:00 while school starts at 9:05, so all 11th grade students who test that day must show to school about an hour earlier at 8:00 am on that Wednesday,

Please encourage your child to get a good night sleep and eat a healthy breakfast before testing. Please review the schedule below so you know the two days your child is testing and how it may affect when they arrive to school.
