HRPro Server
Installation requirements
HRPro Package server runs under several operating systems, each with unique installation requirements.
ITMIL recommends assigning a static IP address to HRPro servers.
If a HRPro client is unavailable when its parent server’s address changes,
it will not be able to locate the parent server when it attempts to check in.
Microsoft Windows operating systems
HRPro server has the following Windows requirements:
■ Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Server, and Terminal Server Edition with Service Pack 6a or later; Windows 2000 Professional, Server, Advanced Server; Windows XP Professional; Windows Server 2003
■ 64 MB RAM (128 MB or higher recommended)
■ 125 MB disk space (50 MB disk space for HRPro server files)
- 60 MB disk space for setup
■ Intel Pentium processor (Pentium II or higher recommended)
■ Static IP address (recommended)
■ Microsoft SQL Server 2000 standard or enterprise edition with Service Pack 3a
■ MDAC version 2.6 or above installed on client systems
Note: If you are running Windows Me/XP, system disk space usage is increased if the System Restore functionality is enabled. Consult the Microsoft operating system documentation for information about the System Restore functionality.

Chapter 1
Installing HRPro Package
HRPro.MSI>is the file, which will install the HRProPackage.
Note : - Installation path should be in Program File of your Computer and not any other path.
Click on Next
Choose installation path under FOLDER option through Browse button and click on NEXT
On confirmation, click on NEXT button to proceed further.
Installation process gets started,
There may be an error related to a file name scrrun.dll, please ignore this error and move forward with the installation process
click on Continue to ignore the error
Click on Close to complete the installation process.
Installation process is over and Icon gets created on your desktop
Click on Start, and you can find another shortcut for HRPro package as HRPro
Chapter 2
Configure DSN Setting using ODBC tool
Step 1:Go to Start ----- > Run
A window will pop up.
Type in “odbcad32” into the Box as shown below.
Another window will pops up as shown below.
Go to System DSN Tab.
Click the Add Button on the Window.
Another window pops up as displayed below.
Scroll Down to Last Option in this Screen
Select the SQL Server and Click finish.
Another Window pops up as shown below.
Put in PayDemo against the Name Field
Leave Descriptionas a Blank and
Select the Server name from drop down list. You can put . (dot) for local server.
Click Next.
A window pops up as shown below.
Select the With Windows NT Authentication using network login ID.
And Click Next Which will follow another window as shown below.
Click next after selecting the Database
Click Finish.
A window pops up as shown below.
Click OK.
The Initial screen with the New Entry Payroll added to will appear as below.
Click Ok.
The Payroll ODBC is now set to use the Database that you have selected.
Procedure to attached the SQL server Database, the MDF file.
Open the Microsoft Server SQL Server Management Studio and follow the instruction given in below screen.
You can add the MDF file by clicked on ADD button.
Select the Database file path from your local system. ( you must copy the database file in your local system where the HrPro.msi is installed and not on any other third machine.)
Remove the log file by selecting the second row in the second pan by clicked on Remove button. Clicked on OK to finished the process.
