TringRugby Annual Mini Rugby Festival:

TringRugby would like to invite your club to their annual Mini Rugby Festival to be held on Sunday 19TH April 2015 at their ground in Cow Lane, Tring, Hertfordshire.

This is an A and B team festival (and C & D team at U7 and U8’s), with teams coming from around the central region.

The U7 – U9 age groups will play to the new ‘Shaping the Game’ rules. We will run as a round robin format at all age groups, medals will be presented to all participants and winner at U9 and above will receive a trophy.

All players must be registered with the RFU and have an RFU registration number in order to play in the festival for insurance purposes. All players must play in their correct age group, Teams will be provided with registration sheets for submission on the day. Sheets will include, name, DOB and RFU registration number.

Squad Sizes and Players

·  Under 7s squad size is a maximum of 12, which will be split into 2 teams with 4 players playing at one time.

·  Under 8s squad size is recommended as 10 players, maximum 12 players, with 6 players playing at one time.

·  Under 9s squad size is recommended as 10 players, maximum 12 players, with 7 players playing at one time.

·  Under 10s squad size is recommended as 12 players, maximum 14 players, with 9 players playing at any one time.

·  U11s and U12s squad size is a maximum of 18 players, with 12 players (U11) or 13 players (U12) playing at any one time.

Each participating team will have to nominate a referee and it is imperative that they attend the referees meeting which will take place immediately after registration at 9.20am in the clubhouse. Please respect the referees they are volunteers.

The Tournament Referee will be available as a point of reference for any questions and will be the final adjudicator in the unlikely event of any disputes. Kick-off will commence at 10.00am.

Dedicated event car park is adjacent to our grounds at a cost of £3 per car.

There will be the opportunity to purchase delicious burgers and bacon rolls (provided by P.E. Mead & Sons) from the BBQ’s, teas/coffees ice creams and cold drinks from various stalls on the ground and of course the bar will be open. There will be toilets in the clubhouse and additional facilities onsite.

Please ensure that your age groups are aware that for health and safety reasons, no dogs or BBQ’s will be allowed at the TringRugby on the day. All belongings must be kept safe TringRugby cannot accept responsibility for any losses. First Aid will be in attendance at all times throughout the day.

Entrance Fee’s:

U7 and U8‘s - £50 a Squad (one squad makes up two teams)

U9, U10, U11, U12’s - £75 a Squad.

So to enter A & B teams at all age groups - total cost: £800
