ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
Minnesota Campus Compact is a statewide coalition of over 40 Minnesota colleges and universities working to connect campuses and communities. The Compact deploys civic engagement as a means to more effectively teach and learn while addressing community challenges.

SALARY: $38,000-$42,000 TYPE: Full Time / 40 hours DEADLINE: Open until filled

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Lead the planning and implementation of the AmeriCorps VISTA College Health Corps program including program management, outreach, training development and recruitment of sites and VISTAS

·  Provide leadership and supervision of the College Health Corps VISTA Leader position.

·  Maintain basic bookkeeping, manage accounts payable and receivable, budget preparation

·  Support grant writing process by tracking deadlines, budgets and reporting requirements

·  Event management, including coordinating logistics, publicity, registration, contracts with locations, catering, participant packets

·  Create and distribute communications, including letters, mailings, flyers, publications, and constituent communications.

·  Support membership by tracking dues, attending campus visits, maintaining member contacts, updating member files

·  Board support, including overseeing correspondence, scheduling meetings, preparing materials, take minutes

·  Office support, internal IT support, organize and systematize files, maintain vendor contracts, maintain and update database, order supplies

·  Support Executive Director, set appointments, manage board and donor communications, maintain files

·  Other duties as apparent or assigned by supervisor

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

·  Experience supervising staff

·  Knowledge of accounting and accounts payable system

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Excellent organizational skills

·  Proficient with MS Office software, QuickBooks, Excel

·  Experience with database systems

·  Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

·  Strong attention to detail

·  Bachelor’s degree preferred

Some evening or weekend work occasionally required
