Thematic Plan for 2016-2017
Thematic Units
As part of the Montessori curriculum, your child will receive regular developmental and sequential lessons throughout the year in the areas of practical life, sensorial, math, language, science, geography, art, music, Spanish, health, cooking, and grace and courtesy. Music and movement are a part of our daily routine as well as listening to stories/books that are read to the class. In addition to these lessons, there will be thematic units that involve more in-depth exploration into different topics. This year’s thematic units are listed below. If you have some knowledge on any of these topics that you would like to share with the class, please let me know.
