RULES

  1. Pitchers are limited to six (6) innings in mosquito, nine (9) innings in peewee and twelve (12) innings in bantam. If a pitcher plays up a level, he/she can only pitch to the limits in the age-appropriate level for that pitcher. For example, if a mosquito-aged pitcher plays on the mosquito and peewee teams, he/she shall be limited to a total of six (6) innings for the tournament.If a player from the NL Female team is also playing on a Bantam team because Bantam is her age-group, she is permitted a total of 12 innings. If a playoff game is tied when the pitcher reaches his/her innings pitched maximum and he/she is the pitcher at the time of the tied playoff game, he/she shall be permitted to pitch one (1) extra inning.
  2. Mosquito will play six (6) innings. Peewee and Bantam will play seven (7) innings.
  3. Flip for home team except for playoff games.
  4. The 3-run maximum per inning rule is in effect except for the final inning.
  5. Bantam will pitch from 60’ 6” and bases will be at 90’ while at Jubilee Field.
  6. The 10-run mercy rule is in effect after;
  7. the fourth inning for mosquito.
  8. the fifth inning for peewee and bantam.
  9. Teams will be awarded two (2) points for a win, one (1) point for a tie game and zero (0) points for a loss.
  10. Tie-breaking rules:
  11. If two teams are tied after the round-robin, the winner of the head-to-head game between the two teams during the round-robin shall advance.
  12. If three or more teams are tied after the round-robin, the runs against per defensive inning in games played among the tied teams shall be calculated to determine the order of advancement.
  13. If the tie persists, the placement of teams will be dictated by the ratio of runs scored per offensive inning for games between or among the original tied teams.
  14. If the tie still persists, the team having the best win-loss record in games played versus the highest placed team not in the tie, followed by comparison against the next highest placed team, etc. will place higher in the standings.
