MISSIONARY PRAYER FOCUS
Global Partners is asking for focused prayer this week for Ben and Sharon Ward, Asia-Pacific Area Director.
As a teenager growing up at Parkway Wesleyan Church in Roanoke, Virginia, Ben first experienced the joy of living a life fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. The journey of following Christ has lead him to serve on staff with EQUIP Leadership in Atlanta, Georgia, and Journey Church in Caledonia, Michigan. He joined the Global Partners team in 2013 as the Director of Communication and Innovations Architect.
Stretching from Mongolia in the North to Indonesia in the South, the Asia-Pacific Area is home to nearly four billion people—the vast majority of whom have not experienced the joy of a relationship with Jesus Christ. Global Partners recognizes the need to invest leadership and strategic energy in Asia-Pacific, both to strengthen our existing fields and to help open new fields. To meet this need, Executive Director Dennis Jackson appointed Global Partners Resource Team member Ben Ward to serve as Asia-Pacific Area Director. In this role, Ben regularly travels to Asian countries for the purpose of

developing leaders, coaching field strategy, building partnerships, and encouraging missionaries.
Ben and his wife, Sharon, along with their three children, Micah (’10), Zoe (’12), and Anna (’16), live in Singapore.
Prayer Points from Ben and Sharon Ward:
· Pray for God to raise up entrepreneurs with a desire to start new kingdom businesses in creative access countries.
· Pray for insight into creating theological training pathways for pastors in Mongolia, India, East Asia, and Cambodia.
· Pray for existing Asia-Pacific churches to send missionaries to new countries.
· Pray for guidance in Sharon’s doctoral research on training leaders across cultural boundaries.
· Pray for opportunities for national leaders from various countries to collaborate for mutual encouragement and mission effectiveness.
· Pray for Ward family cohesiveness in the midst of Ben’s travels.
