Important Note: Program Deadline

The rewards deadline for 2017 is November 30, 2017. However, all biometric data will need to be submitted no later than October 30, 2017 to ensure all metrics are in the system before the deadline. Please keep this in mind as you schedule appointments for biometric screenings.

Earning Rewards

In 2017, you can earn Health Incentive Programdollars by completing two steps:

1)Core Program
(Hit Your Numbers) / Earn 50 Points (complete biometric screening and a health assessment and meet the healthy range standards—see next page)
2)Supplemental Program
(You Pick) / Earn 50 Points (choose any combination of activities to reach the 100-point total—see next page)

Core Program

To Hit Your Numbers, you need to:

  1. Complete a biometric screening and health assessment
  2. Meet certain health measures called Healthy Range Standards

Healthy Range Standards for the four metrics are listed below:

2017 Healthy Range Standards
BMI / <27
BP / <130/85
Glucose non-fasting / <130
Total Cholesterol / <220

If you’ve completed your health assessment and your biometric screening results show that your numbers fall within these ranges, you’ve Hit Your Numbers and will earn the first part of your Health Incentive reward, which is $264 for employees and $204 for spouses.

If you participated in our 2016 biometric screenings, you can already gauge how well you match up to the Healthy Range Standards. We will conduct biometric screenings again early next year and those results will be used to determine whether you Hit Your Numbersfor 2017.

Note: The metrics currently used in our screenings are more liberal than those recommended by medical authorities and they allow our Health Incentive Program efforts tofocus on those most in need rather than borderline cases. We use these measures to identify those that could benefit from coaching or other programs offered through WebMD.
